Luter's was established in 1944. * Jones Furniture, with over 5 decades of service, has been opened since 1939. * Andrews Ford car dealership is said to be the oldest Ford dealership in Mississippi. * Tylertown's oldest pharmacy, Pigott's Drug Store, has been around since 1919. * WTYL radio station came to Tylertown in 1969.
